Notes
• We re-approved having formal but unpaid memberships for ISCET; that includes an ethical consent.
• We will proceed with forming a subcommittee for Nystagmus Guidelines and standards through joint development with ISCEV members with experience on nystagmus.
- Expecting to hear in a month from ISCEV the Members who will join us in ISCET and collaborate on the Nystagmus guidelines /protocols.
- Documenta Ophthalmologica; could be a good venue for publication especially that is not only for electrophysiological studies.
- Nystagmus with /without low vision/vision impairment is important to address in that protocol
• We confirmed again that manufacturers’ participation in ISCET is always welcomed
• Matt opened a discussion on Practicalities of Wide adoption of eye trackers in Clinical practice/ISCET protocols, and raised these questions:
- Which clinical discipline(s) would deliver eye tracking as a service?
- Can it be made cost-effective? (Bearing in mind different methods of healthcare delivery across the world)
- Is the time commitment likely to be acceptable in the clinical workflow (both for clinicians and patients)?
- How important is it for patients to be able to receive comparable test results from different clinics?
- What training would need to be available to bring new clinicians into the field? may be Orthoptics, pediatrics and neuro-ophthalmologists

• In terms of drafting ISCET’s broader roadmap: we agreed that general setting and standard will follow together with educational materials/courses are planned to follow the protocol developments

Next meeting
The next meeting will take place at a time to suit The Americas, likely in the last week of August.

16:05:40 From Fatima Shawkat : Sorry I need to leave and have not been able to participate as in transit. In Southampton we are working with Diagnosys UK to try and use their electro diagnostic system to record nystagmus waveforms in our young patients. Happy to report at next meeting .
